SUMMARY

Our stakeholder introduced us to the concept of using Ionic and Angular frameworks as we were developing a native application previously. During the break, we accomplished installing Ionic and Angular Frameworks to be included in our project. By using a framework now, it makes it much simpler to code and greatly reduced the risk in this project. We also removed the login and logout functions from the user interface, as it is no longer needed as per our stakeholder. Having these key tasks closed is one step closer to us finishing our project in a timely manner.

UPCOMING OBJECTIVES

In the next two weeks, we expect to finish the coding for the Twitter API and incorporating the WordPress plugin into our project. Having these two tasks complete will aid us in completing our project on time and significantly reduce our workload. These two tasks are going to be the hardest for us to accomplish, as we all have no prior experience in those areas. This increases the risk for error, and we must make sure we seek help when needed to have fewer implementation issues. This is what we hope to accomplish in the next period and will be one less step in completing our project.

MANAGING ISSUES AND RISK

Both the twitter API and WordPress plugin are two tasks that specifically need attention, as none of us has incorporated this into a project before.  This increases the risk of error, and we have to ensure we research in advance about what to expect once we start implementing it. Also, these two tasks will take up most of our time, and we want to accomplish completing it first, to deal with the smaller issues that follow. As a learning curve, this will help us to be able to use this in future projects. Having this task complete will be a big progression towards the closure of our application.
